Commodities

Five products. Details per enquiry.

These notes describe what a serious enquiry should contain. They are not offers, not typical parcels, and not Alpine house grades.

Crude Oil

Seaborne crude for refiners and traders. Grades, loading windows and pricing bases are agreed per enquiry.

  • State the grade or a benchmark the grade is priced against.
  • State loading window, laycan idea and inspection company if you already have one.
  • Alpine does not publish a house specification. The enquiry specification governs.

Diesel / Gasoil

Middle distillates including gasoil and diesel. Specification, sulphur and destination are confirmed before any introduction.

  • State sulphur, density and the standard you need (for example EN 590, where that is actually required).
  • Gasoil and diesel are not interchangeable labels. Use the name that matches the specification.

Gasoline

Motor gasoline. Octane, seasonal spec and regional standard are part of every commercial enquiry.

  • State octane, season and the regional standard.
  • Oxygenate limits and dye requirements belong in the enquiry, not in a generic sheet.

Jet Fuel

Aviation turbine fuel. Quality and inspection requirements follow the buyer's stated specification.

  • State the aviation specification the buyer will accept and who will inspect.
  • Into-plane and bulk cargo are different conversations. Say which one it is.

Fuel Oil

Residual fuel oil, including marine grades where the enquiry specifies them. Viscosity and sulphur are agreed in writing.

  • State viscosity, sulphur and whether the grade is for bunkering or for another use.
  • ISO bunker grades should be named only when that is the actual requirement.
